Zambian Ambassador dropped and recalled for article on Internet

President Levy Mwanawasa has with immediate effect dropped and recalled Mbita Chitala as Zambia ambassador to Libya. According to the Times of Zambia Newspapers, the Presidents action was prompted by Mr Chitala’s article in which he was advocating for policies which he termed as being contrary to the Government position on the African Union.
